THE HIJINX

We refer to the Hijinx as our park/All mountain hybrid. From the wider than average waist width to the aggressive feel, this board is nothing shy of an all-terrain vehicle. The Hijinx features mustache rocker; camber between the feet and rocker in the tip and tail. Allowing the rider to blow through heavy hits yet still be able to press the rails. During the development of this board we put a heavy emphasis on durability and longevity in this product. We arrange carbon in each board to help retain the mustache profile for the entire life of the board. The core for this model features hard wood stringers for binding retention and tip to tail responsiveness. All in all this aggressive park board will hold you up when you need it to but still get down on the playful side of things. Outside of specs The Hijinx is a piece of our first showing as a company and the culmination of years of prototyping. Our team of dedicated snowboarders have put these boards to the test both on the resort and in the streets. Our ever-evolving formula for the Hijinx has reached its first landmark and we are excited to share it with you. 

 

PRODUCT DETAILS:

 Camber
MUSTACHE ROCKER 		Camber in between the bindings, rocker in the tip and tail.
Flex

 Rating 1-10:
This board has a more aggressive flex for stability and responsiveness. The rocker in the tip and tail relieves some of this stiffness for playful pressing while still allowing the board to be durable and hard charging in any condition.
Shape
TWIN 		There is nothing directional about this park dominator. Floating on a 7.2mm side cut radius, riders easily transition from heel to toe and switch to regular.
Core
POPLAR ASH 		We use A Poplar Ash blend for the Hijinx. The Poplar is used as our filler wood to reduce weight. The Ash is used as stringers for responsiveness tip to tail as well as insert retention.

DAMPENING

Glass: We use 190z Triaxial Fiberglass for
tortional rigidity and tip to tail even flex. 19oz being on the lighter side also helps with keeping the weight of the board relative.
Carbon: We use 90-degree carbon sheeting in the tips and tails of the Hijinx. The carbon helps to increase pop as well as maintain the profile from camber to rocker. This way your board holds its pop and profile for its entire life.
Dampening: Three layers of dampening rubber are used to soak up any vibrations from the varieties of chunder you might run into. Our dampening formula also aids in helping drive your contact points into any condition with authority.
Base
SINTERED

Durasurf 4001 base material has proven itself to be one of the fastest and most durable bases on the hill. We also lace this sintered base material with the Rockwell hardened 48 edges, a staple in the industry, tried-and-true.
